What is sports massage?
Sports massage is a targeted form of massage therapy designed to assist in preventing and treating injuries, improving flexibility, and enhancing recovery and performance. It’s not just for athletes — anyone dealing with muscle tightness, pain, or postural issues can benefit.
Do you offer private health fund rebates?
Yes! Sports massage is covered by most major private health funds. We have HICAPS on site, so you can claim your rebate instantly and just pay the gap.
What techniques do you use during a session?
Every treatment is tailored to your needs and may include:
Dry Needling
Myofascial Cupping
Graston Technique (muscle scraping)
All of these techniques are included at no additional cost — we use whatever methods will best support your recovery and results.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can book directly — simply choose a time that suits you and come in.
What should I expect during my first appointment?
Your first session includes a quick assessment to understand your goals, any injuries, and areas of concern. We’ll then develop a treatment plan and begin your hands-on therapy straight away.
Is dry needling safe?
Yes, dry needling is a safe and evidence-based technique performed by trained practitioners. It uses fine, sterile needles to release muscle tension and trigger points, helping reduce pain and improve movement.
Can I exercise after my massage?
Light activity and stretching are usually fine after treatment, but we recommend avoiding intense exercise for 24 hours to allow your body to recover fully.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change, but we ask that you please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
No-shows (missed appointments without notice) will be charged the full appointment fee.
This policy helps ensure we can offer your spot to another client in need of treatment.
